Since 2005, this ministry has been a labor of love and sacrifice, and by the grace of God, it continues to grow and expand. What began as a simple evangelistic outreach has developed into a nationwide Gospel movement, committed to advancing the Kingdom of God throughout Pakistan. Our journey started in 2005 as an evangelistic ministry under the name Logos 3:16 (2005-2007) with a clear burden to reach our city, Karachi, with the message of Jesus Christ. In the early years, our focus was centered on soul-winning, Gospel literature distribution, and grassroots evangelism. Later, the ministry transitioned under the name Ambassadors in Mission (AIM Pakistan) (2008-2010) through which we continued serving faithfully until 2011.
In September 2011, the Lord expanded our vision and called us into church planting, establishing a broader, God-given national mandate to plant churches and strengthen believers across Pakistan. That same year, we launched our first house church with only 10-12 members meeting in our home. Despite limited resources, our small fellowship remained passionate about evangelism, distributing thousands of copies of the Gospel of John and conducting discipleship classes in various denominational and public school settings.
The journey was not without persecution. During literature distribution and evangelistic outreach, members of our team were beaten and arrested on three different occasions. Yet through every challenge, God remained faithful.
Over the past 21 years, the ministry has grown from one small house church into 17 branch churches nationwide, along with more than 25 house churches across Pakistan, reaching people from diverse backgrounds and communities.
We have also started satellite Gospel media ministry (Shine Star Television Network) on February 08, 2016 as a local cable TV, Our team was serving day and night to maintain the same timeline manually in the 18 towns of Karachi city which has a 27 million population. After three years of efforts, On 04 January 2019, God opened the door for us to move from local cable to Asiasat7 Satellite, which covers 80 countries including Pakistan and India. The Asiasat7 satellite allows us to operate the satellite Gospel channel from a small office in Karachi city, Pakistan.
In God’s divine providence, Federation of Churches International- FCI) came into existence in September 22, 2016, In harmony with its Memorandum and Articles of Association, LIFENET Ministries Pakistan, at its core, believes in “Networking the Pakistani church and the global body”
This is the motto of this growing group of autonomous, evangelical, startup and existing churches, and para-church organizations within Pakistan. Continuing with the “net” metaphor, these individuals and ministries have chosen to mend their sections of the Kingdom net together to cast a wider and stronger net across Pakistan, the region, and the world.
